I A’int Scared of No Ghost??? (But little kids are!!!!!)

Try to be careful with showing Scary Movies to young kids. According to the article from Parent Dish here are some interesting facts:

- The younger kids are when they see a scary movie or TV show, the longer-lasting the effects will be.
- Kids who watch scary material often have nightmares or anxiety.
- Kids ages 2 to 7 often can’t distinguish between fantasy and reality.

I remember seeing King Kong and Jaws as a little kid. I had recurring nightmares for a few years. My kids are a little scared too of some kids Halloween movies. I regret now not looking at the material first…Has this happened to you?

For tips on how to deal with this circumstance read more at: Scary Movies and Your Kids – ParentDish.
